Students who wish to make enrollment changes after the deadline to add/drop classes must request special permission.
Visiting Students
For visiting Summer students, please use the Petition to Change Class Schedule e-form provided in CalCentral. This e-form will appear in your “My Academics” tab under the Enrollment Card after the add/drop deadline has passed.
UC Berkeley Students
For UC Berkeley students, please consult with your college advisor for their form and submission process to change classes after the deadline.
If you wish to add a class after instruction has begun, it is strongly recommended that you attend the class and speak with the instructor first. Even if you add a class before the relevant deadline to add courses, it’s important to confirm with the instructor that you can successfully catch up on any missed material and complete the coursework.
