Important! Current Summer Students: Transcripts are available in CalCentral as soon as professors update grades. Please note, if you order transcripts before your grades are posted in CalCentral, your transcript will list your name and classes, but the grades will not appear as the printing and mailing of transcripts is an automated process.
UC Berkeley students
UC Berkeley degree students may order transcripts online through CalCentral or order paper copies on-the-spot at Cal Student Central in 120 Sproul Hall (when open to the public).
Visiting Students
Visiting students may order an official transcript from Transcript Plus or order paper copies on-the-spot at Cal Student Central in 120 Sproul Hall (when open to the public).
When ordering transcripts via Transcripts Plus, students determine the delivery and mailing options. International students shipping overseas may incur additional costs.
How to Order a Transcript as a Visiting Student
For "type of transcript," please follow these instructions:
- Please choose "Undergraduate Transcript" if you are a visiting undergraduate student.
- Please choose "Summer Only Graduate" if you are a visiting graduate student (i.e., you indicated on your summer sessions application that you have completed an undergraduate degree).
If you do not know if you selected undergraduate or graduate on your application, you can check your student type in your CalCentral account under "My Academics.”
Electronic Transcripts
You can request an electronic transcript be sent to yourself or an institution. Please note, electronic transcripts can only be sent IF the institution you have listed has agreed to accept electronic transcripts. You may want to check with the respective institution to make sure they do indeed accept electronic transcripts.
Paper Transcripts
You may also request a paper transcript be sent. Depending on the mailing address and preferred delivery options (normal vs. expedited), some delivery options may cost more money. If you are mailing your transcript internationally, it is recommended that you select express mail to have a tracking number. There is no tracking number for first-class mail.
