UC Students from other campuses (Los Angeles, Davis, Riverside, etc.) can apply for UC Berkeley Summer Sessions.
Please find below a general timeline for the process of selecting courses, applying, and enrolling:
- The Class Schedule is released online in mid-December. You can find the course listings at classes.berkeley.edu using the "Summer Sessions 2025" filter.
- The application opens on February 1st UC Berkeley/Other UC students. Fill out the application online. You will asked to identify as a UC student and upload a photo of your current student id.
- About 48 hours after you've applied, you will get an email to set up your CalNet account. After doing this, in CalCentral, you will complete all required tasks and enroll in courses.
UC students are not automatically dropped from classes for non-payment or non-attendance in the summer term. If you do not plan to attend, you must drop your class(es) before the refund deadlines, or you will be financially responsible for fees.
